CHANGE TRAINER
allows a new trainer to be associated with the horse. The system retains a complete history of all trainers of a particular
horse.
Horse Name |
Enter the first few letters of the horse name. A box will appear from which you can select the particular horse. As you
type more letters, entries in the box will disappear. When you find the particular horse for which you are searching,
click on that entry. Refer to the button section of this HELP, to determine what to do next.

Horse Id |
Enter the horse number (from the HORSE ENTRY page) and proceed as above. Enter EITHER the Horse Name or the Horse Id to
continue; BOTH are NOT necessary.

New Trainer |
Enter the first few letters of the last name of the new trainer. A box will appear from which you can select the particular
trainer. As you type more letters, entries in the box will disappear. When you find the particular trainer for which you are
searching, click on that entry. All the information about the new trainer must have been entered on the PEOPLE ENTRY page before
they can be selected here.

Change Date |
Enter the date of changing trainers in the form of Month-Day-Year (either 2 or 4 digits) with any delimiter or just the
4 digit Year.

LOOK UP |
Find the first trainer of the particular horse.

NEXT |
Find the next trainer.

PREVIOUS |
Find the previous trainer.
|
ADD |
Add a new trainer. If a trainer is added prior to the current trainer (just to maintain the history of trainers),
the trainer on the HORSE ENTRY page will not change however the history will be updated. If the new trainer is
added after (Change Date) the current trainer, the trainer on the HORSE ENTRY page will change.

DELETE |
Delete an existing trainer. If a trainer is deleted prior to the current trainer (just to maintain the history of
trainers), the trainer on the HORSE ENTRY page will not change however the history will be updated. If the
current trainer is deleted, the trainer on the HORSE ENTRY page will be reset to the previous trainer.

CLEAR |
Clear all input on the page.
